General Donations and Bequests.If you would like to support the lobbying work of WEL Victoria please consider a donation, even though WEL does not enjoy tax-deductible status in its own right under the Income Tax Assessment Act. Tax-deductible donations can be made, however, to the WEL Australia Fund as detailed below.
Tax-deductible donations: the WEL Australia Fund has been established by the National Foundation of Australian Women (NFAW) as one of its preferred donor funds. NFAW is the only broadly based women’s organisation to have tax deductible status in its own right. Please consider a donation to NFAW naming the WEL Australia Fund as the preferred donor fund, then the donation but can be used for research, education and administrative costs within WEL, but not for political lobbying.
